Coleen Rooney has revealed her husband’s sweet gesture following her return from the reality show.

While fans believed that the beloved couple reunited days after Coleen landed in the UK, she revealed that her husband Wayne Rooney took a day off from his busy schedule just to surprise her.

Speaking with MailOnline at the launch of her wellness range, Coleen shared that after she returned from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Wayne made sure to be there for her, although he was fighting for his job at the time.

She said, "It was just a quick hello and well done because he was in Plymouth at the time so he had that day off which was nice but he literally came home, we had a catch up and obviously the boys were all in the mix and then he left at like 5 the next morning to go back.”

Coleen went on to add, "But over Christmas we did a few things and it was nice because I had time then to meet up with friends and we went out as couples."

Additionally, Coleen also went on to share the reason behind their almost 16-year happy marriage, saying, “We have a laugh and I do think you've got to make time for each other.”

“It's been difficult over the years because we've lived away from each other and stuff but we always try and do a date night so it's been nice having him back and nice him coming here to support and be here,” she added further.
