Chrissy Teigen is among celebrities who could lose their home in Los Angeles wildfire
Chrissy Teigen updated her fans about the ongoing wildfires raging in Southern California.
While sharing an emotional update on Instagram to her 41.9 million followers, 39-year-old Teigen shared that she was in a state of shock.
“This is surreal,” the cookbook author captioned a mirror selfie from her closet. She then added, “I'm very scared now. Packing.”
The mother-of-four was appeared to be leaving her $17.5 Beverly Hills mansion, purchased in 2020, with her husband John Legend and children Luna Simone, 8, Esti Maxine, 23 months, and sons Wren Alexander, 18 months, and Miles Theodore, 6.
Teigen, who married 46-year-old Legend, in 2013, is among 100,000 residents of the City of Angels, who are forced to flee their homes, due to the multiple fires burning uncontrollably around the Los Angeles area.
In an earlier post on her Instagram Story, she admitted to being at a loss for words as she described the out-of-control wildfires as a “hellscape”.
“We are ok as of right now, and I felt weird saying that with so many people we know and don't who are not ok,” she wrote.
She went on to say, “Thank you for reaching out. Looking for any and all ways to help our community right now, please send anything you see.”
Before concluding, Chrissy Teigen wrote, “And God bless the firefighters and all first responders.”
