Brittany Mahomes shares sneak-peek into newborn daughter's nursery
Brittany Mahomes has revealed a glimpse of the dreamy nursery she designed for their newborn daughter, Golden Raye.
The couple, who welcomed their baby girl on Sunday, January 12, collaborated with Crate & Kids to create a cozy space that reflects their growing family’s style.
While speaking to People Magazine, Brittany shared her vision for the room as she said, “Our life can be hectic, especially with two little ones running around, so our goal was to make this space serene and calming.”
In this regard, she described the dusty rose palette as a “peaceful” choice that Golden could grow into.
Moreover, the nursery featured a cream rocking chair, a blush changing station adorned with a plush bunny, and a six-compartment storage cabinet.
Additionally, a standout design element is the sun-themed wallpaper, paired with a decorative poster reading “Let your light shine.”
According to Daily Mail, Golden’s name is also prominently displayed above her crib, along with initials stitched into her blanket.
The solar-inspired theme is a nod to Golden’s name, with thoughtful touches like a setting sun cutout and a plush football paying tribute to her NFL-star father.
In regard to this, Brittany revealed she worked closely with Crate & Kids’ design team, saying she was “blown away” by the final result as she explained, “I took the lead on presenting ideas, but Patrick had a say in selecting pieces. We both spend a lot of time in the nursery, so we wanted it to be a space we’re both comfortable in.”
As per the outlet, the nursery also featured floating shelves adorned with toys, books, and the alphabet, showcasing Brittany’s attention to detail.
Furthermore, the Kansas City Current co-owner and mom-of-three also shared practical advice for new parents: “Focus on essentials for newborns, like a crib, glider, and the basics like diapers and onesies.”
