 The first Pakistani batsman to score a century on Test debut has died at the age of 88


New Zealand-based former Pakistani all-rounder Khalid Ibadullah passed away at the age of 88.

Khalid Ibadullah represented Pakistan in 4 Test matches from 1964 to 1967 and was the first Pakistani batsman to score a century on Test debut.

He made this record in 1964 against Australia in the first Test match played in Karachi.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has expressed its condolences on the death of Khalid Ibadullah.

Khalid Ibadullah was born on December 20, 1935 in Lahore and was known as Billy in cricket circles in England.
