 Pakistan was defeated by India in the final of the World Championship of Legends



In the final of the World Cup Championship of Legends, India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets.


In the final match being played in Birmingham, India easily achieved the target of 157 runs given by Pakistan at the loss of 5 wickets in the last over.


Ambati Rayudu played a match-winning innings of 50 runs, Gurkeerat Singh scored 34 runs.


Yusuf Pathan played an electrifying innings of 30 runs, captain Yuvraj Singh remained not out with 15 runs.


On behalf of Pakistan, Aamir Yameen got two wickets, Wahab Riaz, Shoaib Malik and Saeed Ajmal got one wicket each.


Earlier, while batting first, the champions scored 156 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted overs and set India a target of 157 runs to win.


Shoaib Malik was outstanding with 41 runs, opener Kamran Akmal played an innings of 24 runs.


Sohaib Maqsood returned to the pavilion by scoring 21 runs, Sohail Tanvir remained not out with 19 runs, captain Younis Khan scored 7 runs and gave the wicket to Irfan Pathan.
