Rain forecast in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir

A new series of rain and snowfall has started across the country.



In Muzaffarabad city and its surroundings and other urban areas, light and heavy rains are falling intermittently.

There is light snowfall in the high hilly areas of Neelam Valley, Jagra, Sargan, Shontargris, and light snowfall is also going on in the mountains of Lipa Valley, Muzaffarabad, Bagh Rawalkot and Haveli district.

It has rained in some places in Lahore, while the rain has increased the cold in different parts of Punjab.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will continue to be cold and partly cloudy. While Chitral, Dir, Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Bitgram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Bajaur, Bannu, DI Khan, Tank, North and South Waziristan, thundershowers and strong winds. There is a chance of rain and snow on the mountains.

8 mm of rain was recorded in Tirah yesterday. Peshawar has recorded a minimum temperature of 5 degree Celsius today. Kalam recorded minus 13 degrees Celsius, Dir, Chitral, Malam Jabba recorded minus 3 degrees Celsius, Durash minus 2 degrees Celsius and Para Chinnar minus 1 degree Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain cold and dry in different parts of the country, rain has been predicted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

Thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad and Gir two areas, Gwadar and Kech are expected to experience strong winds and thundershowers.

More rain is predicted at a few places in Khushab, Mianwali, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock, Sialkot, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Narowal and Lahore. .
