The weather has become very cold due to rain and snowfall in various areas including Upper Grace, Halmat, Taubat, Udang Kiel, Rashuntar, Sardari Saunad, Luat Bala.
Neelam, district headquarters, Athmaqam and surrounding areas continue to receive heavy rains. Citizens are facing problems due to the impact of electricity and communication systems in the upper areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, this series of rains and snow is likely to continue till Sunday evening.
The forecast is likely to remain partly cloudy in most of the upper districts of Balochistan, Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Chaman, Pishin and Ziarat received rain with strong winds and thundershowers.
Quetta recorded a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius, Kalat recorded a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius and Ziyarat recorded a minimum temperature of 2 degrees Celsius.
