The Punjab Home Department has issued orders to the IG Prisons Punjab for 2 weeks to ban visits to prisoners and extradited persons. Have been informed about the threat alert.

According to the sources, the Interior Department conducted a security survey (search operation) inside the prison on March 13 through the staff of the Special Branch, Intelligence Bureau and Prisons Department, and installed barbed wire on the boundary wall of the prison.
