Former Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab and current Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi will contest the Senate election on behalf of the ruling coalition.
According to sources, Mohsin Naqvi will be given an important ministry after being elected as a senator and he will also retain the post of Chairman PCB.
Sources say that Mohsin Naqvi is being considered to be made the federal interior minister after being elected as a senator.
It should be noted that Mohsin Naqvi was the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab before the establishment of the present government while he is currently holding the responsibilities of the Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board.
