The Rock returns to the WWE ring after a decade to face Roman Reigns

In fact, The Rock would face Roman Reigns in a WWE ring for the first time in over a decade.
The Rock last faced John Cena in 2013, since then he has been busy with films.
It should be noted that the wrestlers who win the Royal Rumble match are part of a title match at WrestleMania, WWE's biggest annual event.
This year, the men's Royal Rumble title went to Cody Rhodes, who won the match for the second year in a row.
Last year, Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble match and chose to face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, but was defeated at WrestleMania 39.
Cody Rhodes was once again expected to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, but on the February 2 episode of WWE's SmackDown, he was replaced by The Rock.
At this point The Rock and Roman Reigns didn't say anything, just stared at each other.
The match between The Rock and Roman Reigns is expected to be officially announced during a press conference on February 8.
Keep in mind that Roman Reigns is the WWE Universal Champion from 2020 and no one could take this title away from him for more than 1200 days.
The Rock's return to the ring comes as he is added to the board of directors of WWE parent company TKO.
Roman Reigns and The Rock are actual cousins and have even worked together in a movie.
Both of them belong to Anoa'I family.
Earlier, the possibility of a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock at the WrestleMania event of 2023 was shown, but it did not happen.
