Tehreek-e-Insaf has nominated Umar Ayub as the prime ministerial candidate
On behalf of Tehreek-e-Insaf, Umar Ayub was nominated as the prime ministerial candidate against Shahbaz Sharif, while Asad Qaiser's brother Aqibullah was nominated as the speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
Speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, Asad Qaiser announced the names and said that we hope the prime minister will be ours, Omar Ayub will be the candidate for the prime ministership. The date of the protest will be given by the evening.
Asad Qaiser said that every child knows that elections are rigged, we will protest peacefully against election rigging. I myself will contact all the political parties.
Former Speaker National Assembly said that after 10 months, he has met the former Chairman PTI. They will call a meeting of the parliamentary party in a couple of days, they want to make a strategy together with the political parties.
The PTI leader further said that we have expressed our concerns regarding election rigging. Whoever got the vote, the government has the right to jail our voters and supporters two days before the election.
