Jahangir Tareen resigned from the chairmanship of the Stability Pakistan Party

Jahangir Tareen has resigned from the chairmanship of the Stabilization Pakistan Party.

Tweeting on social networking site X, he said, "I want to thank all those who supported me in this election and congratulate my opponents." I have immense respect for the will of the Pakistani people. Therefore, I have decided to resign from the post of Chairman of IPP and stay away from politics altogether.

I thank all the members of IPP. I wish them all the best. By the grace of Allah, I will continue to serve my country to the best of my ability in a personal capacity.
