Israel and Hamas agree on prisoner exchange, cease-fire deal

Doha: Qatar has claimed that Israel and Hamas have agreed on a prisoner exchange and ceasefire deal.

According to the foreign news agency, as a result of the mediation of other parties, including the United States, Israel and Hamas have agreed to a cease-fire agreement.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, in this meeting in Paris, Israel was offered a new offer to exchange Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners in exchange for a ceasefire, which it accepted.

He said that Hamas has also expressed its willingness to offer a new agreement, after which there is a strong possibility that the agreement will be finalized in the next few weeks, while the details regarding the ceasefire agreement will be revealed soon.

It should be noted that earlier Israel rejected the agreement by objecting to some points of the agreement regarding the ceasefire and exchange of hostages presented by the parties.

The number of Palestinians martyred in Israel's barbaric bombardment of Gaza since October 7 has exceeded 27,000.
