Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has said that if the independent candidates who are successful in the general elections are in the majority, they can also become the Prime Minister.
During an informal conversation with the media, the Chief Election Commissioner said that independent candidates are bound to join the party within 3 days and if they do not join the party within the stipulated time, they will remain independent members.
On the other hand, a meeting was held in the Election Commission on the law and order situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the declaration of which has also been issued.
