Imran Khan's sentence was not suspended or annulled, NA 122 Lahore issued a written decision to reject the papers.
A written decision was issued to reject the nomination papers of Imran Khan, the former chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf from NA-122 constituency of Lahore.
According to the eight-page written decision of the Returning Officer NA-122, the nomination papers have been rejected due to the conviction of former chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
According to the verdict, the disqualification of founder PTI has been for five years and that too has not been suspended or revoked. Ex-Chairman PTI disqualified under Article 63-1 of the Constitution, his complainant's objections are valid and therefore his nomination papers from NA-122 are rejected.
It should be noted that former Legi MPA Mian Naseer Ahmed filed objections against the former Chairman PTI.
