Beginning of snowfall in Murree, chances of rain and snowfall in different parts of the country

The series of rains and snowfall has started across the country, today there is a possibility of snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir.



First snowfall of the season has started in Murree, snow has started after dry winter, temperature in Murree has reached minus two, more snowfall is likely in next 36 and 72 hours.


13 facility centers have been set up in Murree for the convenience of tourists, DC Murree in his message to the tourists has asked that tourists should keep their vehicles fit and bring dry fruits with them.


The Department of Meteorology has predicted that the weather will remain cold in most parts of the country, while there is a possibility of drizzle at some places in the Potohar region, the possibility of fog in some plain areas of Punjab and Upper Sindh has also been shown.


More rain has been predicted in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Gardu Nawah, rain in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman and surrounding areas while chances of snowfall on mountains have been predicted in Ziarat.


Rain at few places in coastal areas of Makran, rain in Murree and Goliat and more snowfall in mountains, Jhelum, Gujrat Sialkot and Narowal are also predicted.


On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain in Karachi on Monday and Tuesday, due to which the cold will increase. The Department of Meteorology said that there is a possibility of drizzle and light rain at some places in the city on Monday and Tuesday, due to the rain on Monday. The minimum temperature can be recorded as low as 12 degrees Celsius.


The weather has become colder due to snowfall in the upper regions of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The Meteorological Department has advised tourists to be cautious in view of the weather. The upper reaches of Wadi Neelum are covered with snow, Lovat Bala, Jagran Valley and Shunthar Valley offer beautiful scenery.
