The Turkish president rejected the Israeli plan

Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan rejected Israel's plan to establish a buffer zone in Gaza.

According to a foreign news agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan rejected the Israeli plan during a press conference and said that even discussing the buffer zone plan for Gaza is an insult to the Palestinians.

He said that if Israel tries to target Hamas members in Turkey, it will have to pay a heavy price.

Tayyip Erdogan said that Israel must return the occupied territories of Palestine and that the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas is a resistance group fighting to protect its land.

He said that the future of Gaza will be decided by the Palestinians. Western countries' support for Israel has led to the current situation in the region.
