PCB decides to change coaching staff in New Zealand tour

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to change the coaching staff for the tour of New Zealand.



According to sources, batting coach Adam Holyoke and high performance coach Simon Grant Helmut are likely to be sacked, while a specific batting coach will not be appointed for the T20 series.


Yasir Arafat will take over as High Performance Coach. The services of both foreign coaches have been restricted to Australia series only.


Sources say that a specific batting coach will not be appointed for the tour of New Zealand, Yasir Arafat will perform the duties of high performance coach in the T20 series.


Yasir Arafat has also been given the additional responsibility of batting coach while Director of Cricket Team Mohammad Hafeez will also work on the technical issues faced by the batsmen.


According to PCB, Yasir Arafat will also perform the duties of the commandant of the training camp which will start from December 29th in Lahore and will continue for five days.
