Missing Kuwaiti, Saudi citizens discovered dead in Iraq
Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has confirmed the tragic discovery of the bodies of a Kuwaiti national and a Saudi national who were previously reported missing. The individuals were found dead in Iraq, specifically in the western Anbar province, according to information from Kuwait News Agency.
Expressing his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, Minister Al-Sabah revealed that the bodies were located by Iraqi authorities. He emphasized that the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry is actively collaborating with Iraqi officials to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
In response to the distressing situation, the minister has instructed the Kuwait Embassy in Baghdad to oversee the ongoing investigation. He commended Iraq's efforts in locating and identifying the deceased individuals, underscoring the importance of close coordination between the two nations during this challenging time.
