Lucknow: The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has appealed to the Muslims of India to pay their daughters' share in the property.



According to Indian media, the Working Committee of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board held a conference on Saturday at the Darul Uloom Farangi Mahali Hall in Lucknow, in which women were stressed on the right to share in property.


In his address at the Faheeh Shariah Conference, Maulana Muhammad Nasrullah Nadvi said that Islam is the first religion which gave women a share in the property of their parents, husband and son according to Sharia. He said that the Muslim Personal Law Board has ordered that the share of inheritance should be given to the mother, sister, wife, daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, great-granddaughter, step-sister, grandmother and grandmother. Speakers said that in many cases daughters are not given their Shariah share, therefore Muslims across the country are appealed to give their daughters a share in the property.


Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali while talking about the history of Personal Law Board said that this board was established in 1973, its main objective is to protect Shariat and unite the Muslim Ummah. He said that the purpose of this conference is to clear the misconceptions about Muslim Personal Law Board among the people.


Maulana Atiq Ahmad Bastwi said that the responsibility of managing the house is only on women, Islamic Sharia fully guides it, if we all start following these instructions, anxiety will end from our homes. .
