Gaza: "Patients are screaming in pain" WHO chief's emotional statement on hospital visit
The head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Ted Ross Adhanom, has said that there are no words to express concern over the current situation in Gaza.
The WHO chief visited a hospital in Gaza devastated by the brutal Israeli bombardment since the 57th day. On this occasion, he said that the patients are being treated on the ground in the hospital, the patients are screaming in pain.
Ted Ross Adhanom said that conditions at Ansar Hospital in southern Gaza are worse than poor and that the hospital has more than three times the capacity of patients. The situation in Gaza hospitals is 'unimaginable' due to Israeli bombardment.
It should be noted that more than 300 Palestinians have been martyred in Israeli attacks within 2 days after the 7-day temporary ceasefire in Gaza ended. The total number of martyred Palestinians has exceeded 15,200.
More than 5,000 Palestinians are injured as a result of brutal Israeli bombings and attacks. More than half of the martyred and injured are women and children.
