Faizabad dharna case, summons in former DGISI commission
The Faizabad Dharna Commission has summoned former DGISI Lt Gen Retired Faiz Hameed next week.
Government sources told our investigation team that Lieutenant General Retired Faiz Hameed has been summoned by the Faizabad Dharna Commission for the second time in the TLP Dharna case.
The summons notice has been sent by the Defense Ministry, government sources said, adding that General Faiz Hameed will record his statement in the Dharna case before the commission next week.
A government official said on condition of anonymity that the former ISI chief would assist the commission in gathering evidence on the Faizabad sit-in case and reasons as a relevant government official.
Lt Gen Retd Faiz Hameed was also summoned in the second week of December.
Government sources also said that as the notice was not received on time, Lieutenant General Retired Faiz Hameed was not presented, the commission will complete its report in the second week of January.
