Bail confirmed in May 9 case of PTI candidates
The bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidates in the May 9 case has been confirmed.
Bail has also been granted to former MPA Rai Zahoor Kharl, PTI candidates Khalid Zubair Nisar Dogra and Ayesha Nazir Jat, the three leaders were declared as advertisers in the case.
In Case No. 577/23 registered at Police Station Model Town on the May 9 protest in Borewala against the arrest of founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Additional Sessions Judge Mirza Shahid Baig, former MPA of PTI Rai Zahoor Kharl P. TI confirmed the interim guarantees of National Assembly Constituency NA-156 Khalid Nisar Dogar and Ayesha Nazir Jutt.
The judge of the court remarked that Ayesha Nazir Jat was not present at the time of the protest and no woman is mentioned among the accused in the FIR.
While in the case of electricity theft, the court approved interim bails of Ayesha Nazir Jat and Khalid Nisar Dogar till January 15. In this regard, Ayesha Nazir Jat said that Allah has always supported truth and truth.
He further said that the judiciary is independent and is giving relief in bogus cases. A false case of electricity theft has been registered. The meter is neither in my name nor in my use.
