All New Year celebrations canceled in Islamabad
All New Year celebrations in the federal capital Islamabad have been cancelled.
The district administration has issued a notification according to which fireworks will not be allowed at private housing societies and shopping malls.
NOCs for all events till New Year have been cancelled.
It should be noted that the city of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates has also banned celebrations and fireworks in connection with the arrival of the New Year.
Citizens have been warned by issuing an official statement from Sharjah Police.
Sharjah Police has stressed that everyone should follow the ban, violators will be dealt with according to the law.
It has also been clarified that this ban will be applicable both at individual and collective level.
