Ahmed Ali Akbar: 'After Parizad, getting work in advertisements decreased'

Pakistani actor Ahmed Ali Akbar says that after his most popular role 'Peerzaad', although he is still getting work in dramas as before, but he is getting less work in advertisements because maybe 'Peerzaad' Sanoli color does not match with brands.

In an exclusive interview with the BBC, Ahmed Ali said that in the 'advertising world', he found work less and less because 'perhaps Prizad doesn't go with his brands but on the other side (in dramas) as he would have been offered work before. It was the same as it is now.'

"I think people in the industry already know that I think a lot before choosing a script. That's why people always offer me scripts that I want to do, for which I respect them.

Ahmed is currently playing the lead role in the drama serial 'Edit'. Ahmed's play 'Parizaad', in which he played the dark-skinned hero, was well received.

Sharing an interesting incident regarding the popularity of Prizaad, Ahmed said that once a woman came to meet him and said, 'The role you played in Prizaad was the voice of my heart. That lady started crying in front of me, I also cried.

There were some people who hugged me so hard that I got goosebumps on my neck. Some people said that Prizad's role changed our lives.

Ahmed Ali said that the character of Parizad will always remain with me. Some elements of this character were already in me. Maybe that's why I could understand this character very well.
