A transparent and shining piece was found, which Evans picked up as a piece of glass.
After keeping the piece of glass for a few weeks, Evans became curious about it, and Evans' son asked to share it with park management, according to media reports.
In this regard, the park administration said that many e-mails were received from a citizen saying that he had found a shiny object in the park, which was investigated and found to be a real diamond of 4.87 carats.
The park management said they are very happy that Evans has returned the precious diamond to them.
