190 million pound reference case, non-bailable arrest warrant issued for Malik Riaz and his son
The Accountability Court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Mirza Shahzad Akbar, Malik Riaz and Ahmed Ali Riaz in the 190 million pound reference case.
According to the details, the accountability court has also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Zia-ul-Mustafa Naseem and Zulfi Bukhari.
The accountability court has also issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Farah Khan.
On the other hand, former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be indicted on December 12 in the cipher case.
The Cipher case was heard in Adiala Jail by Secret Act Special Court Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain. Strict security arrangements were made on the occasion of the hearing, on the orders of the Judicial Magistrate, media representatives were also allowed inside the jail for coverage today.
Former chairman PTI said during the hearing that he would like to call ex-army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa as a witness, apart from that he would also like to call a representative from the American embassy. The lawyers objected to the court hearing and said that the legal requirements were not fulfilled in the notification issued for the hearing.
Later, the court declared that former prime minister and Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be charged on December 12 in the cipher case. The court also provided a copy of the case to former Chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
